Welcome to Central Ohio Chapter of ACFE

Welcome to the Central Ohio Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (COACFE) website. COACFE is the official local chapter of the ACFE®. This website aims to provide a forum to connect CFEs and others interested in the unending fight against Fraud. On this site, you will find information about the Chapter including upcoming events and newsletters covering topical issues on Fraud.

 

Chapter members will be able to renew their memberships, register for events and view member directory and board minutes by logging into the members only section. New members will also be able to apply for membership and enroll for events on this site.

 

COACFE was founded in 1992 and has a membership of about 100 members. Our members work in a variety of industries including finance, government, insurance, security and academic. We also have a good representation of students at various local universities interested in pursuing anti-fraud careers.

 

In addition to a bi-monthly luncheon with insightful and engaging speakers, the Chapter co-sponsors the annual Emerging Trends and the Investigator and Fraud Examiner Training conferences held in Columbus, Ohio. COACFE also offers a chapter scholarship program that provides mentorship and funds for the CFE examination study materials. In addition, the Chapter has previously donated about $10,000 in equipment to the fraud divisions of local police departments.
